APRIL: BBQ Tasting and Cooking Challenge
Meat! It's what's for breakfast!

EVENT DESCRIPTION:
In a nutshell, the boys had to identify different types of burgers, sliders, ribs, mustards, colas, lemonade sweeteners, chips and, to top off this meat-show of a day, cook the perfect medium rare steak medallion! Here's the basic scoring sheet:

MOTY BBQ Challenge

1. Identification: Hot Dogs: Regular, All Beef, Chicken (1 pt./correct)
                                                                     
2. Identification: Lemonade: Sugar, Splenda, Agave, Honey (1 pt./correct)
                                                                 
3. Identification: Sliders: Chicken, Pork, Beef, Tofu (1 pt./correct)

4. Identification: Mustard: Whole Grain, Yellow, Honey, Dijon (1 pt./correct)

5. Identification: BBQ Sauce: Original, Calorie Wise, Garlic, Chicken n Rib (1 pt./correct)
                                                               
6. Identification: Ribs: Back, Side (1 pt./correct)

7. Identification: Cola: Coca Cola, Diet Coke, Coke Zero,  Pepsi, Pepsi Max, PC Cola (1 pt./correct)
 
8. Identification: Beef Sliders: Extra Lean, Lean, Medium (1 pt./correct)

9. Identification: Mystery Chip Flavour: (Was Maple BBQ)

10.Cook-Off!: Steak Temperature Reading: Center - Side - Between (Average of 3 is taken)(10pts medium rare, 7pts rare/medium well, 3pts  blue or well, 0 for a butchered steak)

Winner was the participant with the most correct answers. Ties were broken by closest temperatures to perfect medium-rare (130-135 degrees) in the steak cook off!
